Live music is nice and all, but being next door to the Texas hill country is probably the best thing about Austin.

Are there good driving roads outside of Austin? I didn’t get to explore much when I was there and perhaps I went the wrong way (I drove to College Station).

They’re all out west . College Station is to the east and it’s all plains and straight lines out that way. Today I mainly followed the extra squiggly parts by the lake around Volente:

Gotcha. That’s one of my dislikes about most places - not enough squiggles and too many houses . Got to have both squiggle and desolation for quality mobbing.
